Judge Mather Byles DesBrisay was a great collector of trinkets and treasures. When he passed away in 1900, his wife sold most of his vast collection to the Town of Bridgewater. We are proud to be one of Canada's oldest historical community museums and trust your 'trinket' or 'treasure' will be a pleasant reminder of your visit to DesBrisay Museum.
